Light Up A Life Events in December
Light Up A Life
is a heartfelt holiday memorial program now in its twenty-second year. More than
1,000 people gather each December at a tree lighting ceremony in their community
to remember or honor a special loved one. The ceremonies take place the
second week in December, from December 3 – 8. Eleven cities around San Luis Obispo
County host Light Up A Life ceremonies.
These Lights Shine
in Honor of Those We Love
You are invited to participate in illuminating a Hospice Memorial Tree by purchasing a star in memory of a loved one or for someone living whom you wish to honor. Memorial stars may be purchased for $15 each. Your loved one's name will also be entered in the Memorial Book.
This year, we would also like to extend an invitation to become a Hospice Memorial Star Patron with your gift of $150 or more. In addition to the above, you will receive a commemorative beveled glass ornament providing a lasting memory of your loved one.
